CNA Students Begin Clinicals, Building Skills and Compassion
Our Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) students have officially begun their clinical rotations at Prairie Crossing in Shabbona and Cedarhurst in Yorkville! After weeks of preparation and hands-on practice in the lab, these students are now applying their skills in real-world healthcare settings.
During their time at these facilities, students are not only gaining valuable experience in patient care but also developing meaningful connections with residents. Many have expressed how rewarding it is to see the impact of their work firsthand—learning that compassion, empathy, and communication are just as essential as technical skill in healthcare.
We’re proud of our CNA students for representing our school and program with professionalism, kindness, and dedication. Their commitment to learning and serving others embodies the true spirit of healthcare.
