Teaching Methods
Instructor: Katie Mynatt
Welcome to Teaching Methods! My name is Katie Mynatt and I began teaching at IVVC in 2017. I started in the Early Childhood Education class as the assistant and moved into the lead position in 2019. I am not only teaching this class, but took the same class for two years while I was in high school. I graduated from Aurora University with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. Since graduating from Aurora University, I have worked in a daycare setting where I taught toddlers and Pre-K students. I then came to IVVC for a year where I was the assistant in this class. After that I taught second grade, as well as Pre-K in the Sandwich school district and then landed myself back at IVVC. I could not be happier to be back and I am excited to have a great year!
