Hello and welcome!   My name is Joe Barbic and I am the Director at Indian Valley Vocational center. Our mission at IVVC is to provide students with the skills necessary for success in an evolving global marketplace.

To accomplish this mission, IVVC will provide opportunities for students to:  

• Cultivate life and career skills in a real-world environment through partnerships with business and industry.
• Foster abilities to communicate using current and emerging technology.
• Develop learning and innovation skills including creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration.

The Indian Valley experience is valuable to both students entering the career field after graduation, as well as those entering post-secondary education. The variety of course offerings give students the opportunity to select career paths that not only interest them, but immerse them in real-world scenarios and prepare them for their future. Every member of our instructional staff has first-hand career experience in their field of study which affords them a unique insight which may not be offered by a traditional classroom teacher.

We have taken great care in providing the safest environment possible for your students while maintaining  hands-on CTE education. We look forward to a challenging and rewarding 2023-2024 school year at IVVC!
